Screen printing is something that i have learnt since being at University, I find it a great way to develop my work. I like taking something 3D turning into a flat 2D print, with over printing and using this prints to either reprint or turn back into a 3D design.
Screen ringing is one of the early methods of printing. Which involves the passing of ink or any other printing medium through a mesh or ‘screen’ that has been stretched on a frame. You apply a stencil to the screen either by painting on a print solution or by using photosensitive emotion and a possy to creating your design on to a screen using a light source. The stencil openings determine the image that will thus be imprinted.
